A former world record holder, the Bhut Jolokia is super hot chilli that measures in at over 1 million Scoville Heat Units! Also known as the ‘ghost pepper’.

A deliciously sweet chilli most commonly eaten green, the Padron chilli has earned its place in tapas bars across its homeland of Spain. A must have for home cooks.

Similar in appearance to the banana chilli, producing large, thick and crunchy pods, but significantly spicier with a Scoville reading of over 5000. Used extensively in Hungarian Cuisine.

The Bih Jolokia is a close relative of the previous world record holder the Bhut Jolokia, measuring in at over 1 million SHU, but slightly smaller, sweeter and less bitter in taste.

One of our favourite chillies, the Bhut Jolokia Chocolate is slightly milder than the red Bhut but still stupidly hot, with a richer flavour profile that is surprisingly fruity.

The perfect patio plant, producing erect growing and multi-coloured pods, that change from ivory to purple to yellow to orange, maturing to red. Small but spicy measuring in at about 30,000 SHU.

Best known as the chilli used to make genuine Hungarian Paprika, which is richer than store bought paprika, the Boldog Hungarian has a sweet, spicy flavour.

Long and bright orange, it's no wonder this heirloom chilli is called the Bulgarian Carrot.. But don't be fooled, this glossy chilli is much spicier than the salad carrot!

Also known as Piri Piri, which is for Swahili 'pepper pepper', the Birdseye Zimbabwe is a compact plant that produces small erect pods slightly hotter than the popular Thai Birdseye.

With almost perfectly-circular red fruit, the Cherry Bomb looks almost like a tomato, but at 5000 Scoville Heat Units you will taste the difference!
